NICK MYERS

Nick Myers serves as the Vice Chairman of the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC), the first to hold this newly established leadership position. He was elected to the Commission in 2022, bringing a background in software engineering, entrepreneurship, and regulatory advocacy following a significant dispute with a utility company. He is the first commissioner elected from Pinal County.

Upon being sworn into office, Nick’s first official act was to open a docket to modernize Arizona’s rate-making process that set the tone for his term. This initiative ultimately led to the Commission’s adoption of a Formula Rate Plan Policy in 2024, which streamlines the rate setting process, reduces regulatory lag, and improves transparency for the Commission, stakeholders, and customers.

A strong advocate for customers, Nick Myers has consistently proposed and supported amendments that reduce rate increases. He has also prioritized eliminating unnecessary subsidies that increase rates, such as electric vehicle infrastructure charges from utility programs.

Through his work at the state, regional, and national levels, Vice Chairman Myers has established himself as a forward-thinking regulator focused on regulatory stability, affordability, grid reliability, and energy system modernization.

Kevin Thompson

Kevin Thompson currently serves as the Chair of the Arizona Corporation Commission, having originally been elected to the statewide office in November 2022. Prior to joining the Commission in January 2023, Kevin served eight years as a Councilmember for the City of Mesa.

During Kevin’s time as a commissioner, he has focused on grid reliability, customer affordability, regulatory stability, and cutting wasteful utility spending.

Kevin served eight years in the United States Air Force, deploying to the Middle East during Operation Desert Shield-Desert Storm. While on active duty, Kevin attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Metallurgy and Material Science.

Kevin has dedicated his adult life to serving his country, his community, and the state he loves through his public service.

Kevin and his wife, Donna, have been married for nearly 37 years and have two adult children.

Alexander Kolodin

2026 Candidate for Arizona Secretary of State

Constitutionalist Litigator and Secretary of State Candidate Arizona State Representative Alex Kolodin is no stranger to the courtroom—or the Capitol floor. A Scottsdale-based attorney, husband, and father of two, Kolodin has earned a reputation as a principled fighter in both law and legislation. Known for his advocacy on constitutional and election law, he’s emerged as a leading voice for reform, transparency, and voter confidence.

Now, with his sights set on the 2026 race for Arizona Secretary of State, he’s making it clear: election integrity isn’t a talking point, it’s the mission.

From the House to the Statewide Stage

Elected in 2022 to represent Arizona’s 3rd Legislative District, Kolodin quickly made his mark in the Arizona House as a leading figure in the Arizona Freedom Caucus. His legislative tenure has centered on issues that resonate across party lines—water security, economic relief, public safety—and, most prominently, election reform.
