Dr. Kelli Ward was first elected Chairwoman of the Republican Party of Arizona on January 26, 2019, and is the first woman to be elected Chair of the State Party in over thirty years. On January 23, 2021, she was reelected to serve her second term after successfully defending our Republican majorities in the State House, the State Senate, and the Arizona Corporation Commission. Dr. Ward graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University, and graduated top of her class from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH), is a family physician, has served as a lawmaker, and ran her small business for nearly two decades in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Dr. Ward is focused on bringing her conservative bona fides and winning track record as Chair to the fight against the onslaught of liberal policies assailing our state. Going forward, she will continue to work to unify Republicans and win more elections in 2022. As a wife and a mom, preserving liberty, freedom, and opportunity in our country is her primary objective. As Chairwoman, she is putting her experience as a physician, small business owner, and lawmaker to work to ensure more Republican victories up and down the ballot. As we head into the 2022 election cycle, she will continue to use her expertise, experience, and abilities to fight for Republican wins and to keep America First. |
